Prior to co-founding MHP, Jan was the Head of Southeast Investment Banking for Bank of America Securities (“BOA”) delivering strategic advisory services for corporate clients. In his 30+ years at BOA he has worked on over 350 completed M&A, equity, and leveraged finance transactions and has raised over $400 billion in debt and equity capital. Prior BOA roles included Managing Director in the Financial Sponsor Coverage Group and High Yield Capital Markets and Leveraged Finance in New York. Jan received his BS from Wake Forest University and his MBA from the University of North Carolina. He has served on the Board of Visitors for the Wake Forest University School of Business and the Board of Trustees of the Peace Center for Performing Arts in Greenville, South Carolina.

Prior to co-founding MHP, Robbie served as Head of Investment Banking at Fifth Third Securities, where he grew the group into one of the leading middle-market M&A boutiques. Under his leadership, the investment banking team expanded to 100 bankers across five industry groups nationwide with a specialization on middle market M&A for family-owned businesses. His previous experience includes a decade with J.P. Morgan’s investment bank, as well as tenure at Bowles Hollowell Connor. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business.
